Tree Dedication

Tree Dedication

If you happen to drive by St. Joseph’s Home, you will see four evergreen trees decked out in festive Christmas ribbon.  No, we have not decided to skip Fall this year.  The beautiful fir trees were donated last November, (by Kurt Graeser of Frank Otte Nursery) so that our Residents could look out their windows and see the warm glow of Christmas lights.  St. Joseph’s Home was caught in the solitude world of Covid where festive traditions and family visits were not allowed.

On September 10, Kurt Graeser and several of his family members were present as the trees were dedicated with an outdoor Mass in honor of his family and in memory of his parents and son.   These trees are special in that they brought luminosity in a very dark time.  Thank you, Graeser Family, for bringing radiance and a new tradition to St. Joseph’s Annual Family Tree Lighting Celebration.
