Sherman Visits
Once a week Judy and her therapy dog, Sherman, come to the Little Sisters to visit the Residents. Sherman is a calm, gentle spirit who can brighten a room just by walking in. He happily walks down the halls popping into Residents’ rooms or finding them in whatever activity they might be enjoying. His big bushy tail wags nonstop, while the Residents stroke his head and talk to him.
So, you can image his disappointment, when Judy did not let him enter into St. Joseph’s Home instead walked him around the building to a row of windows. He was a bit puzzled at first, but Sherman, being the good sport that he is, jumped up on the window sills to greet his friends.
Resident, Mikey wrote a special note to Sherman. “Love you, Miss you doggies.”
