Exercising to stay healthy

Exercise is important at every age.  But as we age it becomes even more important.  In fact, according to Medline Plus, staying active can help you:
  • Keep and improve your strength so you can stay independent
  • Have more energy to do the things you want to do
  • Improve your balance
  • Prevent or delay some diseases like heart disease, diabetes, and osteoporosis
  • Perk up your mood and reduce depression
Thanks to a donation of new hand weights and stretch bands our Residents are on their way to being happier and healthier!
